Kendal’s gardening space at present is limited to ten concrete planters on the terrace. We have an opportunity to establish a community garden in a sunny space at the south end of the Kendal campus, a short walk from the cul-de-sac.
For those unfamiliar with the concept, a community garden consists of a fenced-in area divided into conveniently sized, easy to manage plots, about 10 X 10 or 10 X 12 feet. There one can grow flowers, vegetables, herbs, and many other things.
