Sharing Space with Students

Kendal residents invited students from the Washington Irving Intermediate School (for third to fifth graders) to share their projects that were part of “The Memoir Project” in the Challenge ELA class, a class for high achieving students.  They also invited pre-schoolers to visit in their Hallowe'en costumes.

Sharing Losses and Celebrating Lives of Loved Ones

Residents share their losses and celebrate together the lives of loved ones who have died.

Sharing Nature's Beauty

Residents also revel in the beauty of nature along the Hudson River, in adjacent Rockwood Park, their own garden plots, terrace flowers, and beautiful plantings on Kendal grounds.

Click on pictures below to see slide show of some scenes from the immediate area around Kendal on Hudson.
