Some Activities at Kendal

Activities1.png

Never let it be said that there weren’t enough activities at Kendal to keep residents busy for as long as they want to be busy (and productive).

Kendal residents have a great choice when it comes to things to do. In terms of active committees we have the following:

Advocacy, Art, Audio-Visual, Bell Ringers, Chorus, CAFA (Common Space Art), Computer, Co-Pilot, Dining Advisory, Fiber Arts, Education, Heath & Wellness, Horticulture, Kendal Swap, Kendal View (our magazine), KoH TV Channel 1970 (our in-house TV Channel), Library, Loss, Movies, Music, Recycling, Residents Website, Social Events, Spotlight (weekly newsletter), Transportation Advisory, Trips, and Welcoming Team.

If that won’t keep one busy, we also have “Interest Groups”. They are:

Bridge, Chess, Faith Group, French Conversation, Italian Conversation, Great Books, Mahjong, Meditation Group, Ping-Pong, Poetry Reading, Poetry Writing, Shakespeare, Spanish Class, Tennis, Tuesday Morning Club.

The lists are pretty comprehensive. However, if a new activity is suggested, the Residents Association is usually delighted to add it to the existing list with the suggesting individual as chairperson. Anyone want to propose skydiving?
