Not surprisingly, the Trips Committee has two great new excursions planned.
For Wednesday, May 30, the Lasdon Park & Arboretum in Somers is set for a Kendal visit. LPA features a 30-acre formal azalea garden, magnolias, lilacs, a rare American chestnut grove and a Chinese garden with cherry trees, butterfly bushes, tropical rainforest plants, a cave and waterfalls. Wow!
On June 6 a group will head to the Museum of Natural History, Rose Center for Earth & Space in NYC. Details are in the May 7 Spotlight.
