On Friday, May 24, from 10 am to 12 noon, Anne Winner will show us how drawing with water-based colored inks on paper placed on a plexiglass plate can produce lovely one-of-a-kind results. Questions? Speak to Bix Smethurst.
On Tuesdays, June 4, 11, 18 and 25, from 1:30-3:30 pm, artist and art historian Jill Kiefer will conduct a “Great Artists of the 20th Century” course in the Gathering Room. If you have not yet enrolled, please pick up a signup sheet from the wall rack in the Activities Alcove.
A new course on Shakespeare will be offered in July. Instructor Kate Farrington returns on Tuesdays, July 9, 16, 23 and 30 to teach another theater course. This year her theme is “Shakespeare Comedies - Travels through Time.” Covered will be Taming of the Shrew, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Merchant of Venice, and Twelfth Night.

Look for the sign-up sheet in early June.
