Movies

Some retirement communities show a movie once a week (or once in a while); not Kendal on Hudson!

Through the efforts of the Movie Committee, and especially its chair and leading light Leonore Meyer, we have a top-grade movie almost every night!  When there is not a concert or a lecture, you can pretty much count on a big-screen movie in the Gathering Room.

This week Leonore has really outdone herself.  Among others, she is making available Casablanca, Rhapsody in Blue, and the Paul Newman classic, The Hustler.

If you miss any of them, they are usually re-played on Channel 1970 the following night which is available on the TVs in every Kendal apartment. Details are available in Spotlight.
